Te Manatu Whakahiato - where you can find out about policies, programmes and services relating to young people. The Ministry of Youth Development encourages young people to have their say on Government decisions that affect them.

Youthtown

Youthtown provides a free drop-in place close to the heart of the city for everyone between the ages of seven and eighteen. Youthtown gives young people opportunities for physical, social and creative experiences.

YWCA

The YWCA is a leading voice for women in New Zealand providing advocacy as well as successful programmes that improve the lives of women. The YWCA of Aotearoa-New Zealand is involved in advocacy in international and national issues affecting young women, women and young people.

In2it

In2it provides opportunities for North Shore youth to be physically active during their unstructured leisure time. In2it makes being active easy and enjoyable. All of in2it activities incorporate a music component and encourage youth to hang out with their mates at local parks, beaches, sporting facilities and commercial spaces.

SPARC

At SPARC (Sport & Recreation New Zealand) they're dedicated to getting New Zealanders moving. That means everything from supporting elite athletes to getting out into local communities and encouraging people to get active.
